At a festival with more than 20 measurement points and manual data readout, the idea was born: a platform on which all measurement points could be viewed in real time – SPL Cloud GmbH was born.
Our first cloud goes online – at a time when cloud solutions in the industry were still uncharted territory. Existing measuring devices from third-party manufacturers can be connected via our cloud client. The focus from day one: simple and clear.
The desire for more control over the entire signal chain leads to our first end-to-end solution: a measurement client that combines measurement microphone and data transmission, an external LED display, and a new generation of the cloud. The devices and cloud infrastructure are rented out to our partner companies through us.
Our end-to-end solution is supplemented by a Leveler. Thanks to innovative algorithms, the volume is adjusted musically – completely without limiters or compression.
With the S1 measurement sensor and the SPL Sense software, we launch our first sales solution on the market. The same year sees the third generation of our cloud. The possibilities of our hardware and software are continuously extended and expanded.
With SDS Music Factory AG we have found a professional distributor for the Swiss market. What once began as an internal tool is now accessible to everyone – our solution finds its way into the wider market.
After our solution has become established in Switzerland, we are launching distribution in Germany. With Babbel & Haeger GmbH we have gained a renowned distributor for the German market.
Founded as one of the first providers of cloud solutions for measurement data, we now offer you a seamless end-to-end solution – from the hardware to the software to the cloud. The rename to SPL Tools GmbH is therefore a logical step: it shows you what we stand for – everything from a single source, easily integrated and ready for your requirements of tomorrow.
